Yeah, I still havent played it since last night, but so far the thing that is throwing me off is the new battle system. I like it and everything, I am just not used to it. It is very MMO like in structure.

the new battle system isnt really that different... I mean its still pretty much turn based you have to wait on your meter. Even if you flee the little shits still follow you. The gambit feature is pretty cool though.

So are combo attacks random? Same goes with blocking attacks.

combo attacks I dunno. Blocking is random (probably based on some stat), but with a sheild I block a lot more often than without it.
