frankly i prefer Xfire until some kinda gaim plugin comes out that'll overlay. gaim does every protocol i can think of including xfire. (playlinc uses aim. And "gaim" does "aim" obivously.)

Playlinc uses AIM and ICQ so far. I believe they're working on more.

AOL owns ICQ. It's the same technology and you can use either to IM either. They're one in the same.
