democrats aren't all that but they certainly beat the alternative...

drilling up north would cost so much money its not even funny. it is estimated that there is more oil under canada then prolly anywhere else or close to it. but the fact is it would take so much to refine it cause its a ton of sludge, we just dont have the technology to do it economically yet. i will support whoever the president is but there isnt a new one yet so i have to support the one who i know will do a better job for our country not just for the military. i could give two shits less if i get a raise if the next president gets our country out of the crapper.

and yes we do still need oil for some things but if you kill our need for gasoline for cars, which is the biggest reason we buy oil. there are not many things we absolutely have to use oil for. There is always an alternative we just need to not worry about pissing off the oil mafia doing it.

i love the country and the freedom that it now provides and i just dont want to see anymore of our liberties get dissolved because of the "boogy man"

Well, it's McCain who doesn't want to drill in Alaska more. Ask Palin about that, heh. She's been trying to convince him that drilling in National Parks for oil is a good idea.

Also, it's unAmerican, and against everything freedom stands for to NOT question your leadership. So no, as a person who actually believes in the ideals of a free nation, I will not automatically support my President no matter who it is. They need to earn our respect and do their job.

it's one thing to sit and bitch about the world.

it's another to try to go out and try to positively influence the world around you.

If support is not blindly following, then why should we support the president, whoever it is, like you? Unfortunately, support is earned and is not inherited.

If you're supporting blindly without questioning, you're only aiding the problem, and not the solution.

so dont u think McCain and this administration should talk to rogue states and try to influence the world around us to make it a better place like Obama has said he wants to do and has been attacked multiple times for?? Wait, McCain flip-flopped on that idea too.. my bad

I don't care enough to continue anything about politics with you guys because in the end you're still going to vote for Obama and I'm still going to vote for McCain.

And I would worry more about countries that actually have capabilities to strike within our borders..and have been testing us for the past year. Russian bear's have been testing the F-22's at Elemendorf since they first arrived..not to mention their exercise just south of us in Venezuela coming up.

but anyway..my original point was, go out and do something for somebody. be nice to a stranger even though you don't have to be. maybe they'll do the same to somebody else, and maybe the image of american's being stuck up assholes will change. that would make a lot more difference in the world than whomever is elected President.
