i wonder why they didnt mension that xbox live is actually free, its just gold you pay for, silver can play multiplayer and everything still, and according to that you can have wireless controllers from sony for free! because the core system comes with a control pad so it doesnt require you to buy one.

There's a lot of false info in that Sony ad. It's pretty sad really. This isn't the first time though. Sony tried to say Xbox360 wont have any Native 1080p games, which infact the 360 will, and Sony knew it, but Sony spun it to make it sound like the PS3 was superior. They're realizing their hardware isn't going to win this war for them since the PS3 is no better than the 360 in most areas, so to make people think the $600 is worth it, they're lying to their consumers. I mean, can you blame them? They're backed into a corner, the company is broke taking out loands everywhere, they lost their exclusives, stocks dropping cause of the overheating rumors, etc etc. Sony is hurting here, they gotta do something to try and make up some ground.

Also, remember this is the same company that told everyone the PS2 would have Toy Story graphics. We should have expected more lies after their E3 of tons of CG preRendered graphics and Sony claiming it was all in game, then later got caught in their lies.

I mean what happened to dual hdmi ports, 3 Port Gigabit switch, 2 times as powerful as 360, they downgraded RSX GPU to 500mhz, downgraded system memory speed to 650mhz, No Spring 06 world wide launch, $600, 7 controller support, tard pack is really tarded, no hdmi cable, etc

And people wonder why I never bought a playstation ever. I basically hate sony for the most part, although I do have a sony camera, but whatever heh.

I also think that a pc is the best way to go. But you cant say that the new consoles put out some crazy games. But a console is just a pc in a staight jacket, really look at it for what it is. And you are going to have to buy a new console every few years. Also how much are the dam games for these things, omg wtf. Think about it when a console puts out part two of a game they charge you like $60, when pc games just put out a new expantion for like 20 bucks (most pc game you can get free of charge...cough cough). PCs can do so much more then a console its silly to try and compare them. You do realize the all consoles are just pc with some custom parts, they use the exact same technology. And they sure as shit any upgradable.

I can see some fact in the fact sheet to be comparable to the PS3 which in fact comes with a blu-ray drive they would have to purchase the HD-DVD. NOw the part where it says required is wrong but if you where to buy the core system and wanted it to be compareable to the PS3 then yes a couple of things would have to be purchased if you did already buy it in the bundle but in the end sony did make Microsoft look pretty bad and they are trying to justify there price tag. As if microsoft doesn't do things like loan money to macintosh and help them port there OS over so they don't look like a monopoly. Reguardless sony is getting what they deserver and Microsoft will also one day to in the OS arena delivering poorly construsted OS's with huge security holes and what not I am in belief that if they sell an OS it should funtion the way it is intended to and no crash out hang-up or bluescreen. If there were a way to sue microsoft for selling me a subpar lied about OS then they would have gone under long ago can you say monopoly. Anywya before I piss off all the MS fan boys I am out. LoL. Yeah, but why buy the core system if you want all that? Buy the premium for $300-$350 that comes with the hard drive, headset, wireless control, 1 month of live gold, etc etc. And who cares if the PS3 has blueray? They don't have HDDVD, which right now is beating Blueray, and most people, i'd say 99%, don't even have 1080p TVs or the money to dip into the HDMovie era, so since the Blueray and HDDVD do nothing for your gaming experience, they shouldn't even be considered.

And PC gaming is really dead lately my friend. If it wasn't, so many of us wouldn't be looking to jump in with the 360 and Xbox Live experience. Just my opinion. I better stop before I anger all you PC Fanboys.
