Xbox freezing
 

My xbox as well as other clan members have had problems with freezing. Has anyone bought one of those kooling pads, because someone suggested that the xbox might freeze because of overheating. That does not make sense since it just freezes when rainbow six is in and not any other game. But does that cooling pad do wonders for the xbox or not?

just dont get the nyko cooler it draws power from the brick that needs to be used by your 360 it could wreck your box

Mine tends to freeze up a lot as well. Often times in the middle of a nice game. :(

Liez. I bought the Nyko intercooler over a month ago. It took a day for it to start working and my xbox hasn't froze since.

whatever, I'm thinking about getting one but my sound gets so loud if i turn it up, you can hear it in my attic. So if the intercooler adds more sound...

WHen my sexbox died it started freezing alot on every game. Its sad to have to worry about an console, these things should be abled to be abused. I remember throwing my n 64 controllers at my tv dropping my 64.

But since im an tech savy person i take good care of my shit, but even the 360 died on me.

I talked to ubi soft and they were no help what so ever. They told me to clean the disc and if it still freezes to exchange it at the retailer. Like they take it back without receipt which i don't have and I don't remember where i bought it from. UBI soft is fucking gay, the only other game that freezes is nhl 2k6 which was poorly made by who ever makes those games.

basically that heppens to all people. it jsut ur xbox getting overheated. Sometimes it happens when you glitch, or a rare chance when your body is glitched after you die... I bought a portabkle 5 inch desk fan and have it bhind my 360 and it has helped drastically. Sometimes your box can freeze if you try to go into the guide/out of guide menus to fast.

DONT get an intercooler... every 1/3 has eben fouind to shortcicut the 360, and melts the power adapter. Also, amke sure your 360 is in the open... make sure it has rrom to breath, no vnets covered up and the power adapter box isnt cramped.

I have a Nyko cooler and it works excellent! My two next door nieghbors use them both!

well i just played for an hour and my xbox froze. I felt the back of the 360 and it was cold, no heat what so ever. I felt that big, black power box and it was really hot. I couldn't cook an egg on it, but it was very hot. No other game will freeze just the rainbow six game. I think its because the rainbow six game needs better performance than other games. Just like my damn computer! (which is basically what a 360 is)

also jester, the rainbow six discs are rumored to be thinner, and there fore takes more power to rotate the disc in the tray, which is why your power box gets hotter when palying r6v comarped to say..GRAW
