ring of death only occurs when you move/tilt your console while a game is in the tray and the game is running... Was it your fault?

if its anyones problem its my brothers, hes been playing it a lot more lately and has been moving it from my basement to my living room upstairs... it was acting up a lot before that though, when i wasn't carrying it around. im fine with sending it to get fixed, im just not looking forward to talking to some indian guy for 2 hours tomorrow.

why? all xbox's ahve that problem. if you tilt ur xbox while its running it will put a ring around ur disc...

in case anyone was wondering, I have the same problom, those 3 red whatever you call thems. Tech support said it's hardware and am sending me a box so they can fix it. The odd part is after leaving it alone for a day I tried to turn it on and it worked, we'll see whats up with it. I think it hates me and throwing a hissy fit, bad xbox bad.
