#FA IRC Chat - Clan Wide Meeting
 

This IRC chat will be held at 7PM Eastern in #FA on irc.gamesurge.net
The day is Wednesday, February 7, 2007.

ALL FA members old and new are absolutely encouraged to attend this meeting. This will be the first time since god knows when we had a sizable portion of FA in our main IRC channel. Everyone has unlimited say in this chat, present your ideas, insult the admins for their lack of activity or tell the admins your side of the story if you feel they are not doing their job. Say anything you want. This meeting will decide the path of this clan.









Instructions:
1.http://www.mirc.com - Download and Install mIRC.
2.Open mIRC, click the Options tab in the top right corner(Folder with a hammer on it).
3.Open the connect tab and enter your name (FA|(name).
4.Click the little flower icon next to Connect to Server and look for gamesurge in the drop down list then press OK.
5.Exit out of the options screen and go to the folder with the # and + sign on it. Click Add and enter #FA in the channel bar. Check the Join on Connect Button. For network either leave it as All networks or go to gamesurge(depends on mirc program). Press OK.
6. You can now press the Lightning button in the upper left corner of mIRC to connect to our channel.
7.Other Fallen Angels Channels:
#team.fa - Competetive Channel (IDLE PLEASE)


Note: Channels can also be joined by typing /join #(channel name)

Note #2: If you cannot find gamesurge in the list type /server irc.gamesurge.net where you would normally type a message. This will connect you straight to the server where you can then use the /join (channel) command to join our clan channels.

9. You should now be good to go with mIRC, Also please note that you do not have to register or pay for mIRC whatsoever the 30 day trial is just a fake so when your days are up you can just press continue.

i dont know how many R6V members have Irc... but ill keep reminding everyone about it, sounds like a good time for the newer people to meet the veterans of the clan/get to know exactly what FA is about.

sweet Never heard of this. Hopefully Punker can get on so the new guys meet him and vice versa.

I am on my mactop here in england, is there an IRC client for osx 10.4.8?

Alright im set up, but i cant idle in rooms becuase the only internet connection we have in my school is wifi and i would tecnically have to leave my laptop in the library at all times, so im not doing that, ill be on when im one.

The CHAT button up in the menu is a java based irc client that will log you in. No need to download anything, just requires you to have java installed on your computer.

ah, lhurg, you beat me to it ;)

We hope to see as many people turn out as possible. If you don't have something going on there isn't much reason not to go. Like Lhurgoyf said, there is no need to have any clients downloaded or this or that, just log into the FA forums and click "CHAT" up top :)
