according to tonights news, the state of Michigan is $900,000,000 in debt. that's nine hundred million. by june our state could go broke. Granholm is working out some kinda deal with both parties but yeah... this problem isn't new nor do I think it'll go away so quickly.

I've been wanting to move out to LA for the longest time now. Michigan just keeps sinking. Sounds familiar... I digress, school might be a bitch come fall.

so they're going to cultivate less intelligent people who probably aren't going to get into college, forcing them to get less paying jobs, and then tax them more? sounds like an A+ plan to me :D i see they really planned ahead for this one.

Move to Alberta, Canada. Lot's of money to be made, shittons of jobs. Almost no taxes.

i was under the impression taxes were higher in canada because of they're health care for everyone policy.

Fuck yeah Oregon rules, highest brewpub to person ratio of any state! I have never been there, but I wouldn't mind living in Washington state (Seattle), its big brother.

btw if anyone really is wondering about alberta jobs its true. Theres a town up north that pays almost 200% the normal wage of most jobs just because of the huge shortage of workers.

Taxes here in alberta are awsome, when i was a student i would get about $15 deducted from a 700 pay cheque. When im not in school around $80 don't know how anyone else gets taxed i've never done any research but i find it ok. That is while staying in a low tax bracket tho...
