Actually, I think it will be interesting and original; as long as the main focus remains on it being a PC game.

SC Ghost wasn't made by blizzard, and it was never released, so it doesn't count as a failure.

Yeah it was postponed indefinitely or some shit. What I'm getting at is they make good games lol. If they don't then they scrap 'em.

*sigh* this "leaked" info is obviously a front put on by blizzard to make their announcement even more shocking..

Blizzard guy 1: Guys should we make anther mmo game even though the cost of this one was well over 300 million dollars? Or the fact that it could actually destroy one of the biggest cash crops in our market right now by us being our own biggest competitors?

The game would be largely the same with different paint...The teams would have to be massive and it would take for ever....also it would have to be different enough from this game. No SC MMO is not coming.

Here is my take purely speculation. I think if they do relaese this game it would be in the context similiar to Planetside there will be 3 team the zerg the terran and the protos( how ever you spell it. They will have based and the goal of the players will be very close to the goal in planet side take over as many bases as you can with the said army you are part of. I would think this is how they would do things in a SC mmo. Not sure like I said it would be like a first person shooter mmo game. but this is spectulation. I think with WoW have the enviroment they do works but when you involve a bunch of guns and stuff I think they would be more likely to go this way so they don't interfer with there RPG hit WoW. we could say this would be a game you lvl in and gain battle ranks and unlock skills and stuff like in planet side but I have to agree they don't want to meees up what they have going with WoW. Or there is this view you could look at also if they did it like SWG when it originally released it could work also. Even if ppl did go to the other game the money all goes to the same place and they may pick up a ton of new customers along the way. In business you have to spend money to make money so you never know they took a chance with WoW and got a great turn out maybe they have hopes for this who knows. I am not sure on all this but that is my spectulation if it does come out.

It'll be an MMO i'm sure. The people want MMOs. MMOs are making blizzard and vivindi billions. Yes, I said BILLIONS.

Granted MMO's are making billions but I think another MMO would be a flop. Who knows though. Blizzard's done some wonderful stuff. I do think they should make SC2 though. Although MMO's are huge right now they could really step up a notch and control the market in both MMO's AND RTS's...

They kinda already did/do control the market in RTS. Starcraft and Warcraft 3. WC3 is probably still one of the most played RTSs out there.
