I'm welcoming anyone else in the community of FA who is going to be playing this game in a competitive manner to join the legion I'll be creating with some friends during the headstart weekend.

Hopefully if there is enough interest and the game can hold it we can transform this into an FA division that is *cough* active.

star wars old republic looks promising, as it differs greatly from WoW

I see it as some sort of combination of Guild wars, WoW and Age of Conan (and you grow wings) but it is very well done. If you didn't get a chance to play the beta im sure they will open up a demo once its been released.

Ill post the server we pick later today when I get home and make the character for preselect, as I said anyone here is welcome to join but I imagine we will be pretty serious as far as the game goes. Due to the legion member limit we can only have so many people that play "casually".

how can u tell servers are filling fast and how can u create a char b4 the game is released? i looked around on the aion website and couldnt find nothin.. maybe im just a blind idiot

If you preordered the game you got the opportunity to make your characters on friday, picking the server in the process. They balanced out the servers now so its official we will be on Zikel [East] pvp server. Head Start event starts tomorrow up until the actual release(if you preordered).

edit--- amazon finally sent me my code downloading it now. hopefully the server doesnt stay locked..

They've been locking/unlocking servers constantly to ensure a consistent player base on each one. So if you wait long enough you're sure to get in.

Elyos, as for the preorder key it will work up until the game is released on the 22nd, then you get to keep playing because you bought it of course ($15 a month suck but the game is def worth it). <--- thats coming from someone who really only played Guild Wars for years

Will when i get in, server queue is at around an hour and a half during primetime 5 pm but otherwise its easy to get on ( thank god).

4hr wait time... wtf they need to up the capacity on their servers or something. headstart ftl

ya theyre evening it out, trick is to login early and if you go afk set up a private shop so they dont log you out

So, I don't think I'm going to be able to play this game based on sys requirments ryan. sorry brah. i'll give it a shot though.

it runs better than wow to be honest... cryengine is alot more efficient.

This has recently been nerfed so there is no more of private shop afkers. actually cuts down on wait time alot. the most i have waited thus far after the patch is like 25 mins.

Btw Disciple we really need to set up a way that right when we add a member in game to the legion that they come to the forum and set their account up.
