If you look up to the nav bar you may notice a new link between the division and member buttons.

You can now upload your files onto the server here and share them. Valid extentions are: zip rar tar gz txt wmv avi mov mpg mpeg jpg jpeg jpg2 gif png. I have set the limit at 50mb for file uploads... you have no limit to upload via the system, but the script will break if you try to upload 50mb+ files because I have php limiting it (you will get an file not selected error). If its bigger than 50mb then you should probably be compressing it to begin with (winrar, winzip, etc).

There are catagories for every division and sub catagories within those. Use them. Keep it clean.

This is here for you to use. You will never physically use up all of our webspace with legal files but I challenge you to try :).

I'll add the 50mb file size thing to the bototm left part, where the other info is real quick, but I just wanted to let everyone know, that this thing is case sensitive. All file extensions must be lower case. not .MOV or .JPG or .AVI, they must be .mov .jpg and .avi. Lower case.

Big thanks to Lhurg on this one, as he did most of the work and everything here. This is one of the main reasons we switched hosts, so we could do something like this. The old host had to many limitations that wouldn't allow such a cool file system to work.

LOL, I know you're kidding around, but I have to say this just to get it out there for others; anything uploaded that could get our site in trouble with the law, will result in the person who uploaded it being banned from the clan and site forever.

but on a different note..that means we can upload our SS's from CAL rt after the matches so they r accessible by the proper authorities if they are needed rt away after a match..that rocks...thanks guys

I thought he was talking about his own music, like played by him, or I would have said something earlier as well. I know a few people who surf these forums are in bands, and if it's your own music it's all good. But as Ice said, and I said before, no copyrighted materials :)

And can we also upload that demo file from AA for the Cal admin that demo file is a DEM file when i click on properties.

The main use I am hoping to get out of this is for people to upload their match demos, or maybe a SL to develop strats, SS's, and links to important demos from other sites, instead of having to trade demos via mIRC/AIM/email. Perhaps you are interested in making a video highlighting your frags, or some neat tricks. Maybe some songs you created yourself, pictures of yourself or places you have been, your computer, w/e.

We could use it as an article archive if some creative authors want to write something. Or if some artists want to draw up some neat screenies. Its basically the foundation of creating our own FA database. I know a few people who are interested in putting their Photoshop/Premiere skills to work and creating movies. Now there is a way to conveniantly do it.

Compress your files into .rar or .zip files. Almost any file that you can think of can be compressed into a .rar or .zip file...

The demo thing is what really gets me excited cuz now ya dont have SL's and WL's cruising frantic like nite after a match with 24 hours to get all the demos to CAL/TWL admin, this will rock

Ty you Scorpion i have download the free Winzip and i have tested if it works for upload a demo for Cal and it works perfect so me and Ice are happy with that :)
