A relief to you all.
This is it. I don't know what keeps me coming back, but it's so ridiculous around here that I'm done.
There's no having fun in this clan anymore. The administration is corrupt . Too many wrong people in authoritave positions. It's a struggle to get a forum, posts that are funny are deleted and moderators do whatever the fuck they want to disregarding anyone else's opinion. This clan is not a democracy, but a Totalitarian government. In a democracy, it's our responsibility to question our leaders. Haha, definitely not the case in this hell hole. You post something 1 person doesn't like, POST DELETED. I laugh at this futile place anymore. Used to be a fun place to come to, now it's just trips to hell. Hermes - you're hilarious, keep up the happy times in this clan (as it has none). Max - Greatest leader of all time. The only grudge I have against you is that you beat me last week in FF =P. Why'd the Falcons have to fix that game >< Skoob - Keep fuckin' those bitches. (I'll probably get this post deleted cause someone might not like profanity) Death - I love you. That is all. Mav - Man I wish I could relive the RvS days. So much damn fun on TS with you. Freeman - Good times man, good times. Gooshy - Make sure Tux stays in good health. I never said YOU specifically deleted my post. Someone did in the RvS division. I posted something earlier today and now it's gone. But of course I just imagined that up, right?
And you just proved one of my points. You're too immature to be a leader. Leaders don't react with the "sour lemon" behavior. |

As for your whole idea of maturity, you're a bit warped there buddy. Major corporations say shit like that all the time. Sony for example cracks on the fact that Microsoft employs a CEO in their game division that sony fired. The fact is that a few were wanting to remove you guys, but for some reason at the time I didn't go with it. Shit, we even had 1 admin step down from CoA way back party because he wasn't allowed to remove the people plaguing this clan. And even with all your nagging to get that forum, no one uses it. So dare I say it shouldn't have ever even been made? And don't hate on Ice, he's one of the greatest Admins this clan could ever have. Personally I wish we had 10 more just like him. People who genuinely care for the clan and it's people, and put in endless amounts of time and work to help the rest of the clan be better. |
Though, maybe if your goodbye post was a little more mature, and not this "this guys sucks, and that guys sucks, and this clan sucks!", you would receive more peaceful replies? Just a thought :)

I'd have to agree with noob; though I don't post on these forums... I remember when this clan was something entirely different, something more like a large group of friends instead of a small cliquey forum. I originally joined in late 99 early 00 and I had some great times. However somewhere along the line the noose got tightened; people became defensive and the quality as a whole began to decline and stagnate.
I'm not a real favorite around the general forums, in part because I'm a fairly blunt person; but I don't go out of my way to be an asshole either. Regardless I felt like this new forum move was going to change the already deteriorating mentality of the old forums in which I decided to make one simple post to test this theology. I posted "I miss the old forums" and immediately got jumped on as if I were attacking these forums; I never said I didn't like these forums - just that I missed the old ones. People seemed to take it like everything else around here; in a negative way, and to my dismay, opened fire. I hope everything works out for the best, but I do feel that it's hard to see this clan as a benchmark among the community anymore. |
This clan was like dieing for how many years, hah, let's be serious for a second, it was no benchmark for a quite a while. At any point, really, Shiznitt could have just shut down the domain, and that would have been lights-out. A couple of guys decided to keep it going, not you maverick, not you Noobmasta, right? I'm really not trying to be negative here, let's be honest with ourselves. FA always had cliques; clans are cliquey, isn’t that what a clique is?
clique - an exclusive circle of people with a common purpose I guess that's kind of what clans are, no? No, FA no longer has 600 active members, I don't believe the recent decisions on behalf of a few leaders changed that, if anything activity is the same, or better. FA was never perfect, there were always people that never liked the system, always, always people getting booted from the channel, always people getting afterlifed or banned, can't please everybody. This is FA now, if you really don't like it, you can leave, and you can come back if you want, that's always been the policy, right? Are you even in the clan maverick…? This place is nothing more than a mirc channel, a website, and a message board, FA is what you make it, you know that. A lot of people live in the past around here, FA this, FA that, it is what it is. |
Very nicely said, Lith. More than anything we're trying to bring back the competitive aspect of FA. Trying to get the name out there again in the community.
