Note that these forums are entirely custom skinned. The Stone textures, cracks, hand drawn wings, FA logo, everything, it's all customized for FA. So, unlike other Clans and websites that just take a premade forum, and add their little banner to the top, ours are original, and custom made for The Cathedral of Fallen Angels.

Props to Lhurg for setting up the forums and scrips and helping me with all his CSS edits etc.

I like the new layout, it looks like alot of work went into this new forum, and im definatly looking foward to the new site.
All noob ment was he missed the simple old forums, which i do too. Its going to take some getting used to with the new forums and all! I love this, and its going to fucking own when everyone gets here and gets used to it! Thanks for you hard work man, its always appreciated!

NP man. I understand the missing the old forums, I think we'll all miss the old forums and site to a degree, but we all also agree that an update was in dire need, as no one took our old site seriously any longer when trying to recruit people.

As for his post, I've been brought up to know "Not Bad" as a kind way of saying "Not Good, but nice try", lol. That's how I use it anyway.

Now that i think of it, that is noobs attitude.
well atleast it was, havnt seen much of him lately so maybe he had a change of heart? But yeah man, this looks awesome. GJ and cant wait to see it put to use!

Just a note, there's an announcement in the General Forums. Lhurg needs all Admins and Warlords to Private Message him, so he can set you all up with your propper permissions on this forum.

Even though I didn't contribute anything to help, I think you guys did a great job on the new forums. I should say thanks for it and as someone said before, it will take some time to get used to the new site. The old forums was a nice simple and easy to click around but the new forums really steps up the maturity in my oppinion. The hooded angel really looks crazy emo but it still looks great and the stone texture matches great within the whole site. Too bad I have ZERO skills at art and photoshop but the new forums is great.

The new forums are awesome! It definately has a unique and beautiful look to it. I'm really digging the banner too! Great work to everyone who contributed in some way to the making of the new site!! :D

Oh, and I think you need to check what the meaning of "EMO" is, lol. Because evil, demonic, hooded figures don't quite fall under that category. Emo is short for emotional. Demons(Fallen Angels) are anything but, lol. They're cold hearted, and dark.

Nice look guys, well dones all around.

Yeah, I am not the biggest fan of the angel either. I like the site though.

Oh and another thing. Why cant people have negative comments about the site? I mean, how can anyone express that they dont like/agree with something on it? I mean, feedback is supposed to be positive and negative, that is the point of feedback. Its to ask people what they think.

You guys pay me the $2,000 I could have made doing this for a company, and you'll have the right to bash my work :) Till then though... Beggers can't be...?

I welcome constructive critisizm to a degree. Most of this site was built off of it. I redid that angel so many times till it fit what most everyone liked. The original was quite ooglay, heh. I suppose it's not a pretty angel, or a light fluffy winged angel, and has no halo, but then, what Fallen Angel does? Last I checked, Lucifer had none of that.

Can't please everyone though, some people were all crazy over the wings talking about how sick they looked. A few others didn't like there being an angel on the site. I think a lot of people have issues with the clan name more than anything though, and that's their deal. Can't please everyone though.

Someone get rid of the 10 character minimum on posts.

It reduces alot of pointless posts like people who just reply with 'lol' or 'stfu'.

Haha I've been gone for awhile and I bet some of u are sitting at your computer hoping this is a dream and im not really here. I was gone for a while because I had some "Family Matters", well anyway I'm back and I was completely suprised. Nice work FA :D Keep it up. and this time dont hate me in two seconds because im not a spammer anymore. and btw srry i havnt been logging in. but my troubles arnt over yet. ill start logging in more but not like b4. Yeah it's a little tough to navigate. I think I just need to get adjusted to it.

If you ever get a "Not bad" from me it means it's good. I just have to get used to weaving in and out of threads/forums like I used to. But yeah forums are very nice, lot of options and what not (gogo sigs).

By the way you couldn't make 2k off this site. www.2advanced.com might charge 2k, but look at what they're capable of. But we do appreciate all your hard work.

Actually, 2advanced would have charged 5k or more easily, and maybe added a little bit of flash here and there, but not much else. I used to hang out with some of the guys who work there, while their main website is nothing short of Godlike, a lot of the websites they do for others aren't really that great, and they charge in the 10s of thousands for some of their larger clients like Ford, etc. But I assure you I could have easily gotten 2k from this, lol. As I said before, I used to make $17 an hour doing Marketing & Publicity, and with how many hours we put into this, and still have to go to finish up the website, 2k would have been a bargain.

BTW, if you don't believe me, ask Halo how much he charges for websites, lol. It's a pretty crazy ammount for some of the basic sites. Halo works for a major web dev company that's pretty much on par with 2advanced. And he has said he will help to flash up this site a bit here soon.

Yeah, it was all easy for me to adjust to since most every major website on the web uses vbulletin boards, had already gotten used to them. The 2 main forums I use on the web are Teamxbox and Epic Games, and both are vbulletin, so this was real smooth to get used to.

Though, I don't understand how most of you guys haven't gotten used to vbulletin boards outside FA, I can understand how it may be hard to get used to. Give it some time though and you'll find that vbulletin board is worth all $160 and more we spent on em :)
