My friend is picking up a copy today. After work tonight I may be going to his house to try it out.

not trying to sound like a dick, but those of us who cant afford 360's really don't care. it seems like every other post recently has been about GoW, all from the same people.

not to be correct, but this is a gaming forum? if you can't update, don't hate on us. GoW is a pretty tight game, with a lot of competitive potential, which is very exciting.

also, it's the only GoW topic I see on this page of the forums.

I feel you. I cancelled my online reserve, and am going out to try and find one, lol. Getting ready now.

I'm debating about going out tomorrow or thursday and buying an Xbox 360 and gears of war... I've been waiting on a decent game.

One major problem is that I live in the dorms and I'm not sure I can get xbox live to work here; don't really have a lot of gamer friends here who would know.

If you have a broadband connection, you're strait. That's all that's required.
