AMD 939 Processors
 

Apparently AMD is clearing out the stores of their socket 939 processors. If you look at the price of, say, the Opteron 144, it was over $200 earlier this year and now costs a mere $77. If you want to get a new PC and you're stuck with a pentium 4 or older AMD, now would be a *GREAT* time.

Sound cards are cheaper at the moment, too. Put all this together with christmas sales and you got yourself a nice, new pc.

On a final note, AMD bought out ATI as you may or may not know, driving down the prices of their cards. Unless you run linux, you might want to consider buying one of their cards, now.
