Yes thats right, iv registered us our own Channel on the Gamesurge server. So for the people who have mIRC please do me a favour and idle the channel. For the people who dont have it please download the program at www.mirc.com install it, connect to the gamesurge server and simply type in.

It would be really great if you guys would idle a few of these channels that way people can see us and possibly scrim us and all that other good stuff.

Yeah IRC is used by all clans and is idea for finding scrims and talking to other clans.

Other channels you might want to join and that are good for finding scrims.

You can connect to any of these channels, as well as the one's Poncho posted, automatically everytime you open IRC if you add them to your favourites list using mIRC. It helps alot instead of typing /join everytime you connect. mIRC is an easy way to chat without taking up alot of resources.

One more thing. Under Tools>Options if you go to Display>Options and click the Tray button on the right you can checkmark "Place mIRC in tray when minimized." This keeps it in your tray rather than taking up room on your taskbar. You also want to have the last 'Animate if there's activity' one checkmarked as well as the first "Always show mIRC in tray."

One final thing. Under Tools>Options again for Sounds you might want it to Beep on Query message so that it will beep when someone messages you. Now under the IRC one goto Options and have it Flash on Query. That'll make it flash if someone sends you a private message.

None of this is required but if you're going to get IRC you might as well do these things as they help with the overall experience.

Ty Ice that whas a good post about the way to use it because i try to use it but without that settings, and i whas not realy a big fan to use it.
But this helped a lot to make it it a better program to use.

Everyone should get IRC. It's a great program to use and all serious gamers use it.

The other alternative:

After the 30 day trial is over you just have to wait 5 seconds, click continue and connect to IRC.

It never actually stop you from using the program. Just makes you wait 5 seconds to read that your trial is over lol.

Alright guys I've registered us a scrim bot in our IRC channel. All you have to do is join our channel (#fa.aa) and type @list aa and it will show a list of scrims and the channels to the team that wants to scrim. We can also add scrims to our bot so other people see that we want to scrim. More info here:
