ring of death only occurs when you move/tilt your console while a game is in the tray and the game is running... Was it your fault?

if its anyones problem its my brothers, hes been playing it a lot more lately and has been moving it from my basement to my living room upstairs... it was acting up a lot before that though, when i wasn't carrying it around. im fine with sending it to get fixed, im just not looking forward to talking to some indian guy for 2 hours tomorrow.
