Ever wonder?
 

Anyone ever wonder why the hell Microsoft and Microsoft xbox don't make more games that are cross platform. I think it would be great to play my friends in lets say halo me on PC and them on xbox. It would be possible to balance out pc's and xbox. With the coding in the pc version they could make the game only take advantage of the same system specs as the xbox in the cross platform play if it was a matter of hardware. Now on the other hand I don't think hardware would be a huge issue to over come. I am saying all this under the assumption that the coding for the xbox and the coding cfor a pc are the same in the way of syntax which i believe is the only problem stopping them from doing it. In all I am just basically stating a wish for the gaming world which could be possible with windows machines in my happy world. I am not sure but i think on the ps2 with FFXI and the pc version i think they play with the pc players not sure though.

Quake III Area for Dreamcast was crossplatform with PC. I played on my DC with PC guys all the time.

yeah i've wondered that myself alot why they don't do that....they could make a killing on the games, and other stuff...me and buddies have talked about how cool that would be countless times.

There's like 3 or 4 cross platform games planned for this year. UT3, Shadowrun, Huxley, and more. Some sports games are talking about doing it as well. EA I believe.

i'd like all xboxers the hell out of my games, thanks. consoles can lick my cat's vagina... stay away from me lol..
