"NEW" Spring Update
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/...t.campSrc=Home
Bad news is that clan thing was a rumor. Xbox live has the free spring update in the week of May 7. I guess they are making a new controller looks stuiped and gay. The damn controller is huge and it has a keyboard. Apparrently they are making msn on xbox live as well as fixing up the dashboard to make it easier and faster. Good to have an update but disappointed about the clan thing update. --Fallen |
The Clan thing they've rumored every time theres an update, yet MS never goes through with it. It's pretty lame. The keyboard isn't part of the control though, it snaps into your current control. From the looks of it, it might be heavy, but other than that, it wouldn't interfere with me at all. But I already have a wireless keyboard for my 360, so I have no need for this.
But yeah, they're making it so Xbox Live and Windows Live Messenger users can communicate, which is cool. The update seems decent overall. Many are bitching it's not good enough to compete with PS3 "HOME", but then, has anyone used HOME? Does anyone even know what it really is? Is it past concept stages? Sony is known for deception and under delivering, so I don't' see MS even trying to compete with HOME until there is signs that HOME even exists. One update I would like to see though, is an update that makes the dashboard move a little faster. That's about my only real complaint. Well that, and the fact that it only plays WMV format movies. |
Oh, I lied. They need Team Chat built into the dash, so you can join vent or teamspeak like chatrooms with the whole clan or group of friends in them.

Msn I'm happy about since that's what I use.
The controller is retarded. I'd rather have a separate usb keyboard.. which I do. The other updates are very nice, I'm looking forward to this. The clan thing was a disappointment though. Nice job fallen! |

Yeah this idea is cool and feasible for Microsoft to put in the dashboard. |
