i'ma upgrade on black friday. All the good games coming out, will be coming out around then, so it'll probably be the best time to get the best deals on PC parts. At least, compared to current prices.

I am going to wait and see what else comes out this will be the first generation card for DX 10 I think if you give it a month or 2 you will see many other DX 10 options to come out. That is just me though. Those cards have dropped in price already like 50 bucks or more. so I would suggest you wait a little longer ona DX 10 solution.

maybe, but you'll need a backup generator just to run the thing. and an external power supply for just the fan :D

but really, the power consumption on ati's new cards is just friggin retarded.



make sure you have room in your case for it. seriously. i installed one in a friend's comp, and it just barely fit. it was like fitting a puzzle together with the harddrives.
