C&C 3, Return or Not to Return
 

Well, I bought the game and I am thinking of returning it. I had previously downloaded the demo and found it very slow compared to tiberian sun. I have yet to install the full version, but was wondering if it is worth it. My favorite game of all time was tiberian sun, but I feel this may not compare. What's everyones opinion on the pace of the game.... How long does it usually take for a 1v1 or 2v2? I loved T.S because of that reason as I could beat my opponents in 4-8 mins tops. Was it just the demo and I can speed up the game?

I find it to be very similar to RA2.

ra2 was a bit faster, but how much different is online from the demo? Usually the offline gaming is faster and it seemed very slow to me.

Just play it. It's easily my favorite game this year.

yeah...the online play doesn't take long for me to lose a round lol...usually between 10-15 mins lol...freekn rushers...i can never figure out what things to build to stop em and rush first lololol...but either online or single player its still a great game.

Do skirmishes. You can set the comp to be a rusher so you can learn to deal with rushers.

One thing I dislike it Fog Of War... can that be turned off? I'm a rusher, too bad it doesn't seem like you can steal buildings like before with engineers. Is the commando still in the game for NOD?

Fog of war is part of almost every RTS, it's just how it is, but engineers can steal buildings. Play the tutorial and they make you learn that.

The Commando is in for all 3 races, just not called commando.

I've done engineer rushes that were pretty fun btw. Rushed like 20 engineers at the enemy, took one of his buildings, then used that to have land IN his base, to drop 2 sonic emiter turrets. needless to say, he got pwned.

hehe... I've always been a rusher. I actually played the single player, it was pretty good, but I ran out of tiberium before i realized I had to destroy the main building (War fact & Con Yard) as I was trying to kill all.

Yeah, that's correct, I never listened to the objective....
