Hmm that's very weird. Where'd you download it? Try googling the error message or posting in the AA forums. Also try a reinstall.

means the game cant find the map and it wont auto-download the map through the map download thingy AA has.....i would try to re-install like was said earlier and then go through and download the maps and i not sure where to put them lol.

i havent been playin old maps a bunch but whenever i go into one of the pre v7.2 maps it just has a black screen in the corner i can see the chat window but ill try again see if it works

A_AA2_CharactersUS isnt a mapfile, its a config file, which the game is looking for and can't find. If you hit me up on xfire sometime, i'll send you the file.

If you have standard install location, the location for the file should be:
C:\Program Files\America's Army\Animations
So check there and see if it's there before doing anything. Chances are its going to be more than this one file though, it might be better to just reinstall.
