Video Card Upgrade
 

Currently running 7800gtx x2 SLi. I'm looking to upgrade to either a single card or I guess I could do another SLi (I'd rather not). I'm looking to boost my FPS in Conan and any other upcoming games. Any suggestions?

Because I whas thinking to buy a second card for my NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 256 mb to boost it up a little.

I'd like less hardware / more airflow in my tower to reduce the temperature

I just bought an 8800 GTS from New Egg, tackles Crysis (terrible game, btw) like a champ.

Duel 8600gt 512, got em for 70 bucks a piece..not bad on temp either keeps my HP *yes i said HP damnit* nice and cool goosh

the 8800 GT is like 160 bucks on newegg right now with the rebate(best bang for buck) and its almost as good as the gts/gtx. But if you want something that'll last you the next couple years......

when you add it to card it takes 20 off i think, my friend just got one

I would buy a second 8800 GTS, but I am trying to leave room on my credit card for the new iPhone :)
