Gears lives up to hype
 

Just wanted to let you guys know that a friend of mine has just recently played a level in Gears. He said it lives up to all the hype and then some. The graphics are incredible, and the gameplay fantastic. He also stated that he was playing an earlier build (around May) and that the newest one was even better (although he was very impressed with this one). There was no slowdown and was silky smooth. He told me I had to of been there in person. He was getting me very pumped...damn! lol Anyways, this has probably been touched on before, but just wanted to back the claim. Can hardly wait. ;) :D

You should stop in #Gearsofwar on irc.gamesurge.net some time. There's a game tester that works at Epic and tests Gears of War who hangs out about every day in there. He doesn't give up much info, but he does talk about how amazing the game is. Which means a lot considering how many games he's tested.
