I have a strong support for Bush. Everyone talks bad and says things but anyone remember Clinton? He did nothing. Im sorry I'd rather be hated for standing up for myself then laughed at for cowering. We leave now you are looking at a Viet Nam. I personally don't want to see that. We started something now its time to finish it. I don't really agree with the rebuilding but it happens.
On the subject of debt I think theres more of a problem with welfare and those type of programs. I don't like the fact that I pay taxes for some worthless slob that is too lazy to work or too dumb to take responsibility for their actions. I know my mom worked 3 jobs at times to raise me and never looked for help beyond family looking after me. If she can do it anyone else can as well. Instead the government hands them free money. That agitates me the most.
I'd have to disagree with the 67% disapproval rate for Bush. I know for a fact things are changing in places. Here in MD we are heading from a traditionally democratic state to a republican state. But looking at the polls you would not see this. However riding down the street and seeing so much support for republicans vs. democrats it makes me wonder about our election system. It wasn't even a close race, democrats won pretty much everything, easily. Thats also sad.
However I can agree with K about being scared to bring kids into this world. Im dead scared. However me and kids are still a couple years off(hopefully). But Im not as scared of the outside world as I am of living in my own country. Around here things are getting worse and worse.
As for the war, let our boys and girls do what they do best. As K said, its their job. We elected Bush to lead our country and we elected him based on his values and ideals. Not 1 time but 2 times. I personally think what hes done has been good and respect the fact that he isn't scared to say what he feels and do what he feels is right no matter what everyone else thinks. Thats a good president. Someone working for us, not to make us look good to everyone else.

You blind yourself. You pretend the world is not as it really is, and pretend that by the US being the bully of the world school, we'll be better off, but in the end, we all know that we are creating disturbed kids who will one day bring guns to school, and seriously damage this once great country of ours.
Why continue to blind yourselves and pretend the facts are just opinion. Why pretend people support our president and the republican party even though the last year elections showed they do not, many polls show they do not, and the hundred thousand people who protested at the white house show they do not. Even Republicans in Washington are turning on Bush, because they are realizing that being aligned with the president, means dealing with a pissed off country who is less likely to elect or reelect them.
You think welfare is what is costing us so much? You hate giving your money to fellow Americans who are in a struggle? Yet you don't mention or seem to care that over 50% of all of your tax money goes to the military and to fight this war? To the pockets and rebuilding of a people who do not live in this country? Not saying we should just pull out and leave Iraq stranded, we made the mess, we should help clean it up, but your logic seems backwards to me. Rather than spend money where it is needed in our own country, in schools, health care, poverty, border protection, jobs, how about we just spend it on some random country we should have never entered, and spend it all on people who are not Americans. Sounds like a plan to me! Here is my hard earned money!
Current Percent of Americans Who Disapprove of Bush: 68%
Current Percent of Americans Who Say Bush is Mishandling the Iraq War: 74%
