people make a huge deal out of soldiers dieing, because they are people. if you died, somebody would make a huge deal out of it.

i used to be furious with the way the news would say xxx soldiers died in iraq in fighting last week. but now i take it as a sign of respect for them, and i'm glad it is known.

despite your feelings about x,y or z you should have the respect to not post negative (albeit very slightly) responses about the death of a soldier, ESPECIALLY if you were in. that makes him your family. he would have done anything for you and i'm sure he still would do anything for you.

i think your post came off not the way you intended it, but what you should do in the future is rethink what you're saying. i accept death and i'm fine with it. i get over it quickly. i don't think its a big deal either but that doesn't mean i don't feel sad everytime i hear about somebody dieing.
