There are a few things that you guys need to understand to ensure that you comprehend the latest Vegas patch.
1-A bug was fixed that previously allowed much greater auto-aim while zoomed in using scopes. The result is that now when you are zooming in you do not get a massive bonus to your accuracy.
2-A bug was also fixed that made it so that silencers reduced weapon recoil by about 40%, that was obviously not intended. Don't think we didnt see you all running around with silencers either.
Now theres a few things that happened. We did our first weapon balance pass based on the fact that we had not yet discovered the two previously mentioned bugs. So damage values etc..were adjusted based on the true values. What you are seeing now is what the values should have looked like from the start.
In the latest patch we also reduced the effictiveness of the Mtar21, the MP7 and the MP9. Reason was that the higher ROF made these weapons too powerful so we added more recoil to them to balance this out.
If we really wanted to use factory values on weapons the best weapon in the game would be the one with the highest ROF+Magazine capacity combo. Simple as that really.
Hopefully this should clear things up. You were never supposed to be mega accurate with silencers+Scopes.
