This forum was opened in 2007 and after nearly 16 years needs to be retired. The forum software is long out of date and has become progressively harder to patch in order to run on newer hosting software. I have done what I can to get the forum up in a read-only view, but posting will remain broken. A few old members still hang out on Discord if you'd like to stop by to say hello.

Waaah!!! I have a steam issue.
Steam.exe (main exception): unable to load library steam.dll
I've tried everything to fix this shite, and nothings doing, I've tried deleting Clientregistry.blob, uninstalling and reinstalling from both the disks (CS:S+DOD:S+HL2DM) and Steampowered.com, and nothing is working, I need to know whats wrong, and how I can make it work again.

you should try to uninstall steam, all the games, delete the remaining folder outta Program Files, then use a registry cleaner to remove anything left over. reinstall and download fresh copies. if that doesn't work, shit, i dunno. maybe it would be hardware, then.
