Gamefly for Cheap?

Figured since this holiday season is going to be HUGE with videogames, a lot of people might want to get a GameFly account so they're not dropping hundreds $$$.

I currently use GameFly, switched to them a bit ago from GamezNFlix, because GNF was flaking, and not sending people games quick enough anymore. Gamefly has been great though.

I found a website that GameFly sponsors, called BrightSpot. www.BrightSpot.tv . What it is, is you watch a few commercials that are 30 seconds long on average, and answer 1-3 questions per commercial, and BrightSpot will pay part of your Gamefly bill. So in the end, my GameFly bill is just as cheap as my old account, but I get better service.

Now, this is just a side note, and isnt' the point of this thread, but if you DO decide to get a GameFly account for the holidays, it would help me out if you'd sign up under me, to help me get a wii for the wife for her Birthday/Xmas. Kahoz, you just knocked yourself down several levels on me respect list. If you look at some earlier posts I have made on this forum, there is nothing I fucking hate more than people who farm referrals.

i don't "farm" em. It's a legit post... This isn't like some freepsps.com site or something, it's GameFly.com ffs, lol. And many people are getting GameFly accounts for this holiday season considering the amount of AAA titles coming out, so why not help people out by giving them a site that helps them make it cheaper? And in return they can sign up under me to help me out as well?

I don't get your logic in that. We shouldn't help eachother out?

I originally switched over to GameFly only because I found BrightSpot.tv and found out I could get my bill lowered by $10 a month. Then while on my GameFly account, I see in the bottom right corner, that if I suggest the same thing I just signed up for, to 5 of my friends, I can get a wii. I don't see how it's wrong for me to let people know of my savings, and ask for them to sign up under me if they DO sign up?

I don't do those referral sites anymore. Haven't in years, since I got my free PSP. They ripped me off getting my free ipod. But again, this is GameFly.com, which is the NetFlix.com of the gaming world. Not some 3rd rate company. And this thread is to help people get a GameFly account, and get a cheaper bill so they can enjoy the games these holidays if people are like myself, and broke.

lol, hey I didn't say it! Mega and I have made peace since our rocky past, and learned to co-exist. So I'm not even getting in on that one, cause I really don't want to go back to how things used to be, with him and I at eachothers throats 24/7. I like the peace :) I just think we have a difference in opinion, or maybe a misunderstanding here. Perhaps we view things a little differently.
