This forum was opened in 2007 and after nearly 16 years needs to be retired. The forum software is long out of date and has become progressively harder to patch in order to run on newer hosting software. I have done what I can to get the forum up in a read-only view, but posting will remain broken. A few old members still hang out on Discord if you'd like to stop by to say hello.

Yea it was rough, I was only up in IC once or twice to help my sister who got evacuated from Coralville off of 2nd ave.

Cedar Rapids definitely got the brute of the ass whopping though, I'm glad to hear that none of your friends lost entire homes. I know a bunch of homes that were lost this time around weren't even offered "500-year flood plane" insurance to begin with and were totally SOL.
