The Darkness for 360. The story might seem short but the multiplayer is like halflife or quake (the good ones).

i tried playing america's army but ever since they cut mac support ive lost interest. the game blows, even on windows. its just too dated. they need a new engine.

CS 1.6 and when I'm truely bored source. I also play w/ my iPhone (lol.) That occupies my time now. Tried c&c 3, which I bought, but only played once or twice, got bored... It's nothing like tiberian sun.

I tried playing 1.6 the other day and I hate it. Source is so much better. I beat both c&c3 campaigns. I liked it a lot. I'm replied on my iPhone... mmm

Oh and khaoz shadowrun demo is cool. not sure if it worthy $60 but its fun to play against the bots

For those of us who started on 1.6; the only thing source has over it is graphics. In terms of skill/fun 1.6 wins hands down.

i started on beta 5.1 scorp. that was years ago, and i still find source to be much better.

How so? I know quite a few people who have made the transition, but you are the first to claim to actually enjoy source more.

And you said you played beta, but for clarification, did you play 1.6 often? The two are night and day.

i played every version of CS until source was released. i believe source came out at 1.5, correct? so no, i haven't given 1.6 the time it deserves, but i have given *<1.6 the time it deserves (hundreds of hours), and since i always figured whatever was around before source and 1.6 were relatively the same, i figured 1.6 was the same. every cs beta was better and better, and 5.1 or 5.5 was my favorite, but as far as i can tell, source just beats out 1.6.

apparently i need to give it another chance

Not pertaining to you Killya... but the ones that do make statements like that are usually the ones that had no skill, and if they did, it was higher than cal-m level. Source is an easier came for the newbies to get kills.

I play 1.6 and have played source and I do find gfx of course to be better as source is on a newer engine and should have better gfx. 1.6.... for a game that old, old engine (in reference to gfx) and for so many people to still be playing it, that tells you something.
